Hannah ( 1862 – 1936), was born in West Bromwich to Thomas Rollason ( our great great great grandfather ).
(By 1878 Thomas Rollason, her father, the alderman, was living at Beacon House, Holyhead road, Handsworth, in the suburb of Birmingham. )( Thomas is featured in the post office directory of Birmingham published 1878).
Clement Francis Venn born 1864- 1928, was the son of Robert Warren Venn , a gent( landowner and occupier) of Uffculme, Devon.( His mother was Mary E. Venn). Clement matriculated Lincoln College 19/10/1883 aged 19 and received a B.A. at Oxford 1888.
1865: Clement(16) was a boarder at King’s School , Church Lane, Uffculme, Devon.
Census 1891: Clement was a boarder(26) with Thomas and Sarah Mc Ewen at 118 Edith Rd. Fulham, London. He was noted as being a teacher? at Classical Tutor school.
Hannah and Clement had two children John Rollason ( jack) and (Rev.) Robert Thomas( born Shephard Bush 1894 and died exeter 1982). There was a third child, Clement S. who may have died young.

1901 census: Hannah and Clement are living at Streatham Common, Streatham college with son Robert T. (6) and Clement S. (7) , John R.(4) with a housemaid , school teacher, and mother’s help. ( According to some internet info, there was a school for disabled children at Streatham common, for approx. 80 children, mostly jewish). Was Clement a teacher at the college?
John Rollason Venn(1896 -1977) signed up in WW1 April 1915 and was with the 3/25th Battalion London Regiment ( artists’s rifles). ( He resided at 34 Howard Rd. Gunnersbury ). He was discharged in Sept. 1915 as being sick. There is note of him arriving in London from Beira Mozambique ( via Capetown) in September 1926 aboard the ‘Gaika” . He appears to be listed as working on railways, he was 29.
Clement Francis Venn of 34 Harvard Rd. Gunnersbury, Middx. died 29/2/1928 and in his will his effects were 6115 pounds and 15 shillings.
